Dental Receptionist

About the Role

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for excellent patient care, and has prior experience in a receptionist role.

• 4-5 days per week

• 8 hours per day (can be varied).

Key Responsibilities

• Greeting and checking in patients warmly and professionally

• Managing appointment bookings and confirmations

• Handling phone and email inquiries

• Processing payments, billing, and HICAPS transactions

• Maintaining accurate patient records and schedules

• Supporting clinical staff with smooth patient flow

• Other administrative duties

Your Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a dental receptionist is mandatory

• Experience in D4W software (Dental4Windows or Dental4Web) is mandatory

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HICAPS systems

• Understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and Australian dental billing systems

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• High level of attention to detail and time management

• Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude
