Visual Merchandising Manager

We’re looking for an inspired and brand-aligned Visual Merchandising Manager to bring by charlotte to life through storytelling and beautiful product presentation; and to bring their magic to the by charlotte experience. You’ll play a key role in creating meaningful moments for our community, inspiring connection, uplifting others, and embodying the by charlotte spirit in everything you do.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

As Visual Merchandising Manager, you’ll bring our brand to life through impactful storytelling and product presentation across every channel and touchpoint. You’ll plan, implement and maintain our visual merchandising standards to elevate the customer experience, drive sales and ensure brand consistency wherever people meet by charlotte. Key responsibilities include: 

Retail visual merchandising 

• Develop and execute visually compelling product displays and window concepts across our stores, keeping every layout true to our brand identity 
• Prepare, distribute and maintain VM guidelines to ensure a consistent brand image across the network 
• Bring window displays, in-store storytelling and product presentation standards to life to maximise sales and customer experience 
• Manage the production, distribution and installation of in-store POS, testers, displays and signage 
• Use analytics to review zoning and refine product layout for improved productivity and performance 
• Partner with the Merchandising team to showcase priority collections and key assortments in high-impact locations 
• Conduct regular store visits (or virtual check-ins) to audit and maintain visual standards, and coach retail managers on VM execution 
• Support store openings, relocations, refurbishments, pop-ups and promotional activations with tailored VM plans 

Wholesale visual merchandising 

• Collaborate with the Wholesale team to ensure VM consistency across all brand touchpoints 
• Create seasonal VM guides for wholesale key accounts

General & cross-functional 

• Work closely with creative, marketing, retail operations and sales teams to align VM with campaign launches and seasonal creative briefs 
• Manage VM materials (props, fixtures, signage), including ordering, distribution and inventory tracking 
• Manage the VM budget, including PO tracking and invoice reconciliation 
• Support creative concepting for seasonal campaigns, new category launches, packaging updates and event activations 
• Share insights with the design and product teams, and recommend action plans that continuously elevate the customer experience 

ABOUT YOU 

You’ll shine in this role if you’re a natural storyteller with an eye for detail and a love of beautiful, considered spaces. You’re highly organised and collaborative, with a proactive, can-do attitude, and you’re just as comfortable interpreting sales data and customer feedback as you are concepting a window. You can juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment without losing the thread, you communicate and negotiate with ease, and you’re genuinely passionate about retail, marketing and building meaningful connections with our brand. 

The ideal candidate will also have: 

• Experience in visual merchandising, preferably within jewellery, fashion or luxury retail 
• A strong understanding of brand storytelling, product display techniques and customer experience across both retail and wholesale environments 
• A strong grasp of consumer behaviour and the commercial impact of visual displays 
• Excellent organisational and project management skills 
• Flexibility to travel for store visits, wholesale account support and events
