The Digital Teaching and Learning (DTL) portfolio is responsible for digital products and services that enhance the experience of Australian students, teachers and the broader education community. Products and services typically include resources that support curriculum goals, spanning early childhood to the final years of schooling.

The role

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of digital products, platforms and services that support educators and learners across Australia.

You'll manage projects from planning through to delivery, working closely with stakeholders, technical teams and external partners to ensure successful outcomes.

This is a 12 month fixed term full time contract, with possibility for extension.

With a focus to:

• Manage projects at various stages of development, leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams to scope, design, build, and maintain digital products and platforms

• Ensure the timely production and completion of project deliverables and/or services, focusing on achieving quality outcomes for designated projects

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets and associated reporting to achieve targets.

• Identify risks affecting project delivery and deploy contingencies to complete the project

• Apply quality assurance processes to ensure overall project integrity

• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Drive collaboration, continuous improvement and effective communication across projects

• Facilitate workshops, presentations and stakeholder consultations

• Prepare proposals, briefings and supporting project documentation.

About you

• You have experience delivering digital/technical projects end to end using Agile and hybrid Agile/Waterfall approaches

• You have experience with online learning systems or web/digital platforms, familiarity with content management systems (e.g., Umbraco, Drupal and Moodle)

• You can meet strict deadlines for reporting, development, and delivery, and effectively manage project budgets

• You excel in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ability to manage multiple relationships at once

• You have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear written project documentation, reports, and presentations

• Experience managing education-focused projects is highly desirable

• Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (e.g., DTA Digital Service Standard, WCAG and information privacy is highly desirable.
