Delivery Driver / Labourer

Profix Glazing is seeking a reliable, hands-on Delivery Driver/Labourer to join our team based in Yatala.

This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys being on the road but is also happy to assist around the factory, with loading and unloading, and general labouring duties when required.

About the role

• Delivering aluminium frames, glass and associated materials to construction sites throughout South East Queensland

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles

• Ensuring materials are transported and handled safely to minimise damage

• Checking deliveries against paperwork before leaving the factory

• Assisting trades and factory staff with loading and preparing materials for delivery

• General factory and yard labouring duties

• Maintaining a clean and organised delivery vehicle and work areas

• Assisting with other general duties as required

About you

• Hold a current LR Driver Licence – essential

• Have a good driving record

• Be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

• Be reliable, punctual and organised

• Take care when handling glass, aluminium and finished products

• Be able to work independently and as part of a team

• Have good communication skills and a positive attitude

• Be comfortable travelling to construction sites across South East Queensland

• Previous experience in construction, glazing, aluminium, manufacturing or building material deliveries would be highly regarded but is not essential

• Experience driving light rigid trucks and working around construction sites would also be advantageous
