Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic

Marsue Transport is a proudly family-owned business that has been operating in the Dangerous Goods industry for over 41 years. We are looking for a motivated HD Mechanic, LV Mechanic, Serviceperson, or experienced Trade Assistant to join our workshop team in Forrestfield WA.

While a qualified HD Mechanic is preferred but not necessary, we are willing to upskill the right person who aligns with our company values.

What We Offer

• Monday to Friday, 40 hrs per week (occasional Saturdays if required for breakdowns)

• Working hours: 07:30 – 16:00

• Hourly rate: $40 – $50 (based on qualifications; TA rate lower)

• 13% Superannuation

• Work on modern, well-maintained fleet – Volvo & Hino prime movers, trailers & tankers

• Diagnostics, repair and maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic, diesel systems, general lubes and spinning filters, no rebuilding.

• Clean, well-equipped workshop with specialised tools supplied

• Fully supplied PPE

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnostics, repair and maintenance of heavy vehicles and trailers

• General servicing, including lubes and filters

• Maintenance of pneumatic and diesel systems

• Supporting breakdown repairs when required

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in a similar role (HD, LV, SP or TA)

• Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic or LV Mechanic (or Service/ TA experience)

• Own set of everyday trade tools

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

• Safety-first mindset with attention to quality and urgency

• Team player with a professional and polite attitude
