About the role

Overhead Distribution Services Pty Ltd is seeking a Store & Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team at our Carole Park facility. This is a full-time position based in Carole Park, QLD 4300, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution centre. The Store & Logistics Coordinator serves as a key link between our storage operations and logistics functions, contributing directly to our ability to deliver products efficiently and maintain high standards of inventory management. This role is essential to the day-to-day success of our warehousing and distribution operations.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinating warehouse operations including receiving, storing and dispatching goods in accordance with company procedures

• Managing inventory records and ensuring accurate stock levels are maintained through regular audits and reconciliations

• Organising and monitoring storage areas to maximise space utilisation and maintain a safe working environment

• Liaising with logistics teams to schedule and coordinate shipments and deliveries

• Processing documentation related to goods movement, including picking lists, delivery notes and warehouse reports

• Assisting with quality control checks to ensure products meet required standards before dispatch

• Supporting the implementation of warehouse safety protocols and procedures

• Collaborating with suppliers, customers and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain service standards

• Maintaining accurate records and generating reports on warehouse activities and logistics operations

• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and reduce costs

What we're looking for

• Experience in warehouse operations, logistics coordination or similar role within a distribution centre or manufacturing environment

• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry

• Solid understanding of logistics processes and supply chain principles

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Physical capability to perform duties which may include lifting, bending and moving goods

• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a commitment to workplace health and safety

• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying operational improvements

• Relevant certifications or qualifications in logistics, warehousing or supply chain management are highly desirable
