Personal Care Worker (Full-Time) | Melbourne
About the Role
We are currently seeking a community-based Full-Time Personal Care Worker to join our growing team.
In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting clients to live independently and with dignity in their own homes. You will provide personal care, domestic assistance, and companionship, while ensuring a safe, respectful, and person-centred approach to care.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties may include, but are not limited to:
Provide domestic assistance including cleaning, laundry, tidying, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
Delivering high-quality personal care, including showering, toileting, grooming and dressing
Monitoring and observing changes in client health or behaviour, and reporting concerns promptly to the care team
Providing emotional support and meaningful companionship to promote client well-being
Maintaining accurate and professional documentation, including progress notes and communication with team members
During overnight shifts, conduct regular wellbeing checks, respond promptly to alarms, calls or distress, and provide reassurance
About You
You are a compassionate and capable Personal Care Worker who thrives in community-based care.
You will demonstrate:
Certificate III in Home and Community Care, Aged Care or Disability, or Certificate III in Individual Support
Previous experience as personal care worker (aged care, disability or home care)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Must be willing to travel throughout Melbourne - a company car will be provided
Mandatory Requirements:
Current working rights in Australia
Current Police Check (within last 12 months)
Employee Working with Children Check (or willing to apply)
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to apply)
Current Flu Vaccination (2026)
Covid-19 Vaccination
Current Victorian Driver's License
