Product Manager SaaS – Remote

About the role 

Our customers are aged care and disability providers dealing with genuinely messy, high-stakes problems: rostering, compliance, funding, care delivery. Your job is to turn that complexity into simple, well defined product outcomes that Engineering can actually build and customers actually want. 

This isn’t a “roadmap is locked and everything is defined” role. It’s for someone who likes rolling up their sleeves, creating clarity where it doesn’t yet exist, and helping teams move forward. You’ll spend as much time framing an ambiguous problem as you will making the trade-off calls that get it shipped.  You’ll work directly with the Head of Product and lead customer research and solution validation, make the UX calls, and work with Engineering to get from problem to shipped product. If you want a title without the trade-off decisions and the follow-through, this isn’t it. If you want to own outcomes end to end and see your work land in front of providers with real challenges, this is it.

We build software for providers across the NDIS and aged care sectors, supporting some of the most vulnerable members of our community. Every feature you scope, every trade-off you make, shows up in how a care worker’s day actually runs. 

We’re a close-knit Australian SaaS team of around 40 people. We’re growing, and we’re upfront that we’re still building out some of our product processes as we go. You’ll get real autonomy over how you scope and sequence your work, and a manager who knows what you’re working on and backs your calls. Product, Engineering and Customer teams here pull together rather than throwing requirements over a wall, and we care about the outcome you deliver, not how many hours it took to get there. 

What you’ll be doing 

• Lead discovery directly with customers and internal teams, testing concepts with users and turning ambiguous problems into clear problem statements, JTBD and success criteria 
• Own PRDs and be the primary decision maker on scope, sequencing and trade-offs so Engineering can move with confidence 
• Work day to day with Engineering through delivery, including on UX and interface decisions, and coordinate with Marketing, Sales and Customer Success for release readiness 
• Track adoption and customer outcomes after release, and feed what you learn back into the roadmap 
• Contribute to roadmap planning and run prioritisation workshops using tools like Now-Next-Later 

What we’re looking for 

• 3+ years in Product Management, ideally in SaaS or healthcare technology 
• Strong problem-solving skills, and the judgement to balance discovery with delivery rather than getting stuck in either 
• A track record of turning ambiguous customer and business needs into scope that actually ships 
• Comfort managing competing stakeholder priorities and making the call when they conflict 
• Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales and Customer Success 
• A strong sense of ownership through to release, not just through to handover 
• Comfort working with data and customer insights to inform decisions 
• Familiarity with NDIS Practice Standards or Aged Care legislation is a bonus, not a requirement
