This is a unique opportunity to join Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) during a transformational period for People & Culture and lead the workplace relations agenda across one of Australia's largest and most respected health services. The role has been strategically positioned as a key member of the People & Culture Senior Leadership Team, partnering with senior executives to navigate complex industrial environments, support workforce transformation and strengthen organisational capability.

What You Will Be Doing
This is far more than a traditional industrial relations role.
As Director, Workplace Relations, you will provide District-wide strategic leadership and authoritative advice on workplace relations, industrial relations and workforce policy to support the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care. You will lead industrial strategy; workforce change programs and organisational transformation initiatives while ensuring compliance with legislative and industrial frameworks.
Essential Requirements
About You
You are a highly accomplished workplace relations, industrial relations or employment law leader with significant experience operating in large, complex and highly regulated environments. You thrive on solving complex challenges, influencing senior stakeholders and delivering balanced outcomes that support both organisational priorities and positive workforce experiences.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
