About the Role:

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals and snacks for our children, following our set menu and catering to dietary requirements. 
• Maintain a safe, hygienic, and organised kitchen environment in line with food safety standards.
• Cater to a variety of dietary, allergy, and cultural food needs with care and creativity.
• Manage food ordering, stock rotation, and storage to minimise waste and maximise freshness. 
• This is a Part-time, Monday - Friday role, 25 hours total per week.

• You take pride in preparing fresh, nutritious meals while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
• You enjoy being pat of a team, sharing a laugh, and holding great conversations with your colleagues.
• You bring a positive attitude every day – showing up with a smile and seeing the glass half full.
• You thrive in a lively environment and don’t mind the sound of little voices and laughter from the playground.

 Requirements:

• Recognised qualification in Cookery/Hospitality/Chef highly regarded
• Current Food Handling Certificate
• Current food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Current Working With Children Check
• Knowledge of safe hygiene practices
• Experience working as a cook in a childcare centre will be highly regarded
