Sales Manager – Mining & Offgrid | BESS, Microgrid & Industrial Energy Solutions

📍 Melbourne, VIC / Sydney, NSW / Perth, WA

A global leader in renewable energy technology is expanding its Australian presence in the mining and offgrid sector. They're looking for a Sales Manager to lead that growth, with a strong focus on BESS and microgrid solutions for remote and industrial applications.

This is a chance to take ownership of a high-value, high-growth segment within a business backed by serious global scale and a strong product pipeline.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead the expansion of the business across mining, offgrid, microgrid, and industrial clients in Australia
• Own annual sales targets, from planning and forecasting through to execution
• Build and grow relationships with key accounts, mining operators, EPCs, and distributors
• Identify and present new project opportunities within the mining and resources sector, including microgrid and hybrid power solutions
• Review quotations and oversee delivery, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction
• Represent the business at industry events and in client meetings
• Provide market and competitor insight to inform strategy

What we're looking for:

• 6+ years' sales or business development experience in Australia, ideally with exposure to mining, offgrid, or industrial sectors
• Proven success acquiring new clients and closing new business
• Experience in renewable energy, BESS, and/or microgrid solutions
• An established network within mining and offgrid in Australia
• Strong commercial acumen, comfortable learning technical product detail
• Confident working independently across a geographically dispersed market
• Ability to travel interstate
