About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic mental health professional to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering specialised care to consumers with complex and enduring mental illness. As Team Leader of the Intensive Outreach Team, you will provide operational and clinical leadership in partnership with the Consultant Psychiatrist, driving excellence in evidence-based, recovery-oriented and person-centred care.
You will play a pivotal role in leading service improvement, supporting staff development, and ensuring high-quality consumer outcomes across the care journey. This is the most senior position within the team and offers the opportunity to influence service delivery, foster innovation, and embed a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support a multidisciplinary mental health team.
Drive evidence-based, recovery-oriented clinical practice.
Partner with the Consultant Psychiatrist on service leadership.
Lead service improvements and change management initiatives.
Ensure safe, high-quality and person-centred care delivery.
Build effective partnerships with consumers and stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
AHPRA registration or AASW eligibility in a relevant discipline.
Experience leading multidisciplinary mental health teams.
Strong mental health assessment and clinical decision-making skills.
Knowledge of mental health legislation and contemporary practice.
Commitment to recovery-oriented and family-inclusive care.
