Join our Clinical Information Department and play an important role in supporting a service that operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week Work alongside an experienced and supportive team committed to maintaining high standards of service and operational excellence. Build a diverse skill set through exposure to different work areas, shifts and service needs across a large and complex hospital environment. In this relief position, you will primarily support the department by providing coverage for staff leave and vacancies across a range of shifts including short notice changes and requests for service needs, helping to ensure the seamless delivery of an essential service Contribute to the efficient management, processing and availability of patient records, supporting the delivery of safe and effective patient care.

We are seeking a reliable, adaptable and proactive team member who enjoys variety and takes pride in delivering a high-quality service in a busy healthcare environment.
You will have strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately when managing patient information, ensuring records are maintained, retrieved and processed in accordance with established procedures. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential, as the role involves liaising with clinicians, hospital staff, external service providers and members of the public. You will be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in medical record filing and records management.Effective communication (written and verbal), interpersonal customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of customers.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member under minimal supervision.Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience of WHS principles and manual handling procedures, including the ability to work in a role involving frequent manual handling of paper-based records.Proven ability to organise and prioritise workload and meet deadlines and demonstrated ability to work with accuracy and follow clearly outlined processes in a fast paced, high volume work environment.Demonstrated high level computer skills with experience in the MS Office Suite of products and patient administration systems including keyboarding skills.Demonstrated understanding of information privacy and confidentiality requirements. Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work practices or work environment.
