About the Role …

We are accepting applications for an experienced Gaming Team Leader who has a bright, outgoing personality and exceptional customer service skills to provide "hands on" leadership, guidance and supervision of gaming and associated team members.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing prompt, friendly, customer focused advice and assistance to members and guests on machine and loyalty system operation, including carrying out permitted minor repairs and machine maintenance
• Provide food and beverage services to gaming patrons quickly and efficiently, ensuring there are minimal waiting times
• To handle all cash and gaming associated transactions in an efficient manner, ensuring the security of cash and the privacy of member details at all times
• Control team members working hours in accordance with trading patterns
• Monitor, evaluate and ensure team member productivity, service standards and professionalism on a shift by shift basis
• Actively assist team members to understand all aspects of their employment 
• Mentor and assist team members to provide exemplary customer service
• Provide on-the-job training to improve job skills
• Ensure that team members promote the Club Loyalty program
• The assist with clearances, hopper weights and meter reads as required
• Maintaining a clean, organised environment free of any hazards

About you…

As someone with previous experience in the hospitality industry, you will possess a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You will have a willingness to build long-term relationships with our members and will have impeccable grooming, presentation and communication skills.

To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team
• Excellent organisational skills
• Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with a range of different people
• Trustworthy and reliable
• High level of grooming and personal presentation standards
• Reliability and the flexibility to work a variety of shifts including but not limited to nights and weekends.

Experience and Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1-2 years of gaming supervisory experience
• Current Qld RSA and RSG
• Experience in TAB and Keno would be advantageous
