About the role
Work at the heart of executive decision-making and organisational transformation.
For more than 95 years, ACER has been driven by a single purpose: to improve learning for all. As one of the world's leading educational research organisations, our work spans more than 150 countries, supporting governments, education systems, educators and learners through research, assessment and evidence-based solutions.
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Executive Assistant to support our Chief People and Transformation Officer (CPTO). This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a senior executive while contributing to the people, culture and transformation initiatives that underpin ACER's success.
Working at the heart of ACER's People, Culture and Business Services Division, you will provide trusted executive support to the CPTO and play an important role in delivering strategic people, culture and transformation priorities across the organisation.
This role offers a high level of responsibility, variety and visibility, making it ideal for an experienced Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates sound judgement and enjoys building strong relationships across an organisation.
Partner with the CPTO to coordinate priorities and support strategic objectives.
Manage complex calendars, communications, meetings and travel arrangements, ensuring priorities are effectively coordinated.
Prepare executive correspondence, reports, presentations and briefing materials.
Coordinate P&C Committee meetings, agendas, minutes and action tracking.
Act as a trusted point of contact for executive, internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and follow-through.
Support divisional administration, financial processes and travel coordination.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams and executive leaders.
Manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Significant experience providing executive or senior administrative support.
Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills and strong document preparation capabilities.
Sound judgement, initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
High levels of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.
A commitment to continuous improvement and delivering exceptional support.
At ACER, you'll work alongside senior leaders in a trusted and influential role, helping shape people, culture and transformation initiatives while supporting an organisation making a positive impact on education globally.
Executive Exposure: Partner directly with the CPTO and collaborate with senior leaders across ACER.
People & Culture Impact: Support initiatives that shape workplace culture, employee experience and organisational transformation.
Hybrid Flexibility: Enjoy a collaborative hybrid working environment based in Camberwell.
