FEMALE DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKERS – HIGH-INTENSITY SUPPORT

Aspire Challenge Evolve 247 is currently seeking dedicated Female Disability Support Workers to join our growing team in the Penrith & Chatswood area.

We are a registered disability support provider committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care that empowers people living with disability to achieve independence, dignity, and quality of life.

We are currently seeking experienced High-Intensity Support Workers in the Penrith & Chatswood area to support young participants.

We are particularly looking for workers who are confident and experienced in:

• Complex seizure management

• Suctioning

• Airway and respiratory support

• Supporting participants with complex medical needs

Previous experience in these areas is preferred. Additional training will be provided, and all successful applicants will complete a competency/challenge assessment prior to commencing employment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to help clients achieve their goals and aspirations

• Assist with personal care and daily living activities

• Assist with medication and other required supports

• Maintain accurate daily documentation and progress notes

• Contribute to the development of individual support plans

• Build professional relationships with clients, families, carers, and stakeholders

• Work collaboratively with our team to improve the client experience

Our person-centred approach recognises that every client’s circumstances, goals, and support needs are unique and valued.

Available Shifts - Monday to Friday

We have available 6-8-hour shifts 7 days a week, with morning, afternoon, and overnight shifts.

Requirements

• Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care, Nursing, or equivalent

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle (preferred)

• Comprehensive car insurance

• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

• Minimum 12 months’ experience in disability, aged care, or nursing

• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination

• Current First Aid and CPR certificate

• Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
