Fleet Controller

Job Purpose

We are currently seeking a Fleet Controller to join our Transport Operations team, based in Kenwick, WA. In this role, you will coordinate daily transport operations, allocate vehicles and work closely with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure freight is delivered safely and efficiently. You will monitor fleet movements, manage operational requirements, and assist with resolving any issues or delays to maintain a high level of customer service.

This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, with working hours aligned to operational requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

· Coordinate daily transport operations to ensure service delivery requirements are met
· Allocate vehicles and work to drivers, ensuring efficient use of fleet resources
· Liaise with drivers, customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues
· Monitor and track vehicle movements, deliveries, and transport schedules
· Prepare and maintain accurate operational records and documentation
· Support compliance with company policies, procedures, safety, and transport requirements

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

· Previous experience in a fleet control, transport, logistics, or similar operational role
· Strong understanding of transport operations and fleet coordination
· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
· Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
· High level of attention to detail, organisation, and problem-solving capability
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant transport or logistics systems
