Guest Service Agent

Seeking a customer focused host to manage our reception.

Guest service agents will manage day to day front office operations, leading our ACCOR property's reception & reservations systems to achieve high guest satisfaction, teamwork and positive experiences. Our role is to sell rooms, convert calls, increase occupancy and to encourage return stays.

Key Responsibilities:

Seamless Shift Management: Confidently run the desk, ALL Accor loyalty, handle check-ins/outs, reservations, support housekeeping allocations, phones, sales, VIP's, guest requests and general enquiries. You are the hub of the Hotel and require a solution-based mindset to provide exceptional customer care.

Problem-Solving: Resolve guest issues (technical, billing, service recovery) with professionalism, diplomacy, and a positive outcome. Qualify guest needs and provide solutions within best practice procedures; be a happy, strong communicator with calmness under pressure.

Operational Excellence: Maintain accuracy in cash handling, daily reporting, and managing reservations across the Opera PMS. Achieve brand loyalty, safety compliance and procedure execution. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with guests from diverse backgrounds.

Assisting guests with various needs, such as luggage handling, directions, and recommendations for local attractions and dining. Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organisation in the lobby and common areas.

Local Expert: Provide outstanding local area knowledge and recommendations for attractions, dining and city events. Drive yourself education and connect with our team to best support our customers and to achieve desired results.

Our expectations:

Hotel Experience: Guest Service Agent (GSA) must have reception/front office experience. Opera cloud PMS is highly desirable. Will be working with team and independently on the front desk.

Flexibility: availability across 7 days for 3-4 shifts, weekend work and some public holidays.
