Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Senior Psychologist to join Noogal Clinic- Community Mental Health Team
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our six main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals Centres and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.
About the Role:
This role is responsible for:
The senior psychologist will provide supervision and mentoring to junior psychology workforce and students within Noogal and across other mental health sites under Northern Health DivisionWork closely with the therapy stream to enhance service delivery for complex mental health presentations.Contribute to community-based mental health initiatives and training alongside Northern Health’s broader Mental Health Division.

To be successful in this role you will have:
Registration with AHPRA with Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical PsychologyAt least 5 years of post-registration experience.AHPRA (PsyBA) Board-approved supervisor for Clinical PsychologyDemonstrated experience in the delivering psychological therapeutic interventions including group work to assist consumers in their recovery of mental illness, their families and carers in a community setting.Proven Leadership skillsA commitment to clinical excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
