MOBILE PLANT OPERATOR

KTS Recycling is Melbourne’s premier resource recovery and waste transfer station operator. KTS operates four transfer stations in Melbourne’s South East and focuses on the recovery of recyclable materials to reduce waste from landfill. Our Wantirna South site operates 7 days a week, closing only Good Friday and Christmas Day. Wesburn is open Friday – Monday only.

Details of the position

• Mobile Plant Operator needed for Knox Transfer Station, 251 George St, Wantirna South.

• Overtime and penalty rates apply.

• Full time & casual positions available

• Must be available one weekend day per fortnight.

• Rates are paid in accordance with the Waste Management Award.

• Required to operate a material handler/front end loader. Experienced excavator operators should also apply.

• Overtime and penalty rates apply when/if required to work weekends and public holidays.

What We Are Looking For

• Excavator/Front end loader ticket required.

• Material handler experience preferred but not essential.

• OH&S minded individual.

• Customer and team focused.

• Positive can-do attitude.

• Hands on, self-motivated individual with the ability to motivate others.

• Punctual with strong communication skills.
