Supply and distribution Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Supply and Distribution Manager .

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives on both strategic planning and day-to-day operational control.

This position is open to Australian citizens, permanent residents, and eligible temporary visa holders

This is a full-time, office-based position located in Yatala, Queensland.

Key Responsibilities

• Determining, implementing and monitoring purchasing, storage and distribution strategies, policies and plans
• Negotiating with Suppliers
• Monitoring and reviewing storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels
• Operating recording systems to track all movements of supplies and finished goods, and ensuring re-ordering and re-stocking at optimal times
• Overseeing the recording of purchase, storage and distribution transactions
• Managing warehouse staff
• Liaising with customers to ensure they get product as required
• General customer service
• A current driver’s licence.

Skill & Experience

• Planning and Organizing: The ability to plan, organize, direct, control, and coordinate the supply, storage, and distribution of goods produced by an organization. 
• Logistics Management: Skills in logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing, and distribution are essential for managing the movement of goods. 
• Business Management: Experience in business management, including financial management and supply chain management, is crucial for overseeing the entire supply chain. 
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills are necessary for evaluating data and making informed decisions regarding logistics and distribution. 
• Communication Skills: Effective communication skills are important for coordinating with suppliers, logistics providers, and other stakeholders. 
• Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the supply chain process is vital for maintaining operational efficiency.
