Field Service Engineer

Perth Scientific has been supplying medical and scientific equipment to hospitals and universities for 42 years. We are looking for a service engineer to join our service team and support our customers in Western and Eastern Australia.

We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Engineer/ Service Technician to join our service team in Perth. The role will require you to install, service and repair medical and laboratory equipment in hospitals, universities, veterinary clinics, and laboratories.

You will be required to provide preventive maintenance, scheduled servicing, fault repairs and call-outs when required. All hospital call-outs require a response in a timely manner.

The position requires you to work in Perth Metropolitan and travel to regional Western Australia.

The successful candidate will have.

• A recognised qualification in biomedical engineering, electronic engineering, or equivalent.

• Experience in service and repair of medical and laboratory equipment, preferably disinfection and sterilizing equipment.

• Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills.

• Exceptional communication and customer service skills, and proficient with customer training and product presentations.

• Ability to maintain accurate documentation of service activity and a comprehensive product knowledge base.

• Be able to work autonomously and to travel statewide.

• Electrical License desirable.
