About the role

Balanced Books and Accounts Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Bookkeeper to join our team in Keilor Park, Victoria. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and providing essential financial support to our small business clients. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing accounting practice.

What you'll be doing

• Record daily financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations

• Payroll processing and file management

• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations

• Collaborate with the team to improve financial processes and procedures

• Provide excellent customer service to our small business clients

What we're looking for

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Bookkeeping

• At least 2 years' experience working as a Bookkeeper

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping best practices

• Proficiency in using Xero accounting software

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
