Graduate Engineer

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a motivated Graduate Engineer to join our Utilities division, in our Fortitude Valley office in Queensland. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent engineering graduate to build a strong foundation in project delivery. You'll begin in our Brisbane office, working alongside experienced engineers and estimators to gain a comprehensive understanding of how major infrastructure projects are planned, tendered and delivered. For the right candidate, there is a genuine opportunity to transition into a site-based role, gaining hands-on experience delivering projects across Queensland.

Working closely with our pre-contracts and engineering teams, you'll assist with project coordination, technical documentation, procurement support and quality processes while developing the practical skills needed for a successful engineering career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review engineering drawings and project specifications.
• Maintain project documentation, registers and records.
• Assist with procurement of materials and project resources.
• Support quality assurance documentation and inspections.
• Coordinate Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and client sign-offs.
• Monitor project progress and communicate with project teams.
• Assist with project planning and engineering activities.
• Participate in safety initiatives and compliance processes.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Develop the skills required to progress into project delivery.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• Degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical)
• Exposure to engineering within the water sector is highly regarded

• Strong communication and people skills
• Strong computer and systems skills and knowledge
