About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Online Team Member to join our dynamic Online Team based at our Capalaba QLD location. This is a part-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our online retail operations. You will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive outstanding service through digital channels, helping to drive the success of our e-commerce initiatives whilst maintaining the high standards Brookies Rural Traders is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Processing and fulfilling online orders accurately and efficiently

• Managing online customer inquiries and providing responsive, helpful support via email, chat, or phone

• Updating product information and inventory management systems to ensure accurate stock levels

• Coordinating with the online and store teams to ensure timely order dispatch

• Handling customer complaints and returns in a professional and empathetic manner

• Maintaining accurate records of online transactions and customer interactions

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in online retail, customer service, or e-commerce environments is highly valued

• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members

• Proficiency in using computers, online platforms, and retail management systems

• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities, particularly when juggling multiple tasks

• Attention to detail and accuracy when processing orders and managing information

• A customer-focused mindset with genuine enthusiasm for delivering outstanding service

• Reliability and flexibility to accommodate part-time scheduling requirements

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

• Familiarity with rural or consumer products is advantageous but not essential
