About the role
Help protect customers, markets, and communities by strengthening financial crime compliance where it matters most. You’ll partner with senior leaders and teams across compliance, risk, and the business to build practical, risk-based solutions in a complex global environment. You’ll develop deep expertise in Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) while expanding your leadership and influence. As a Global Financial Crimes Compliance Officer (Vice President within Australia & New Zealand Global Financial Crimes Compliance, you lead and coordinate AML/CFT program execution and advisory support across local legal entities. You help translate regulatory expectations into clear policies, controls, and governance routines that work in real operating environments. You partner closely with senior stakeholders to identify emerging risks, challenge gaps, and drive timely remediation. You play an active role in strengthening an ethical, conduct-focused culture through visible risk leadership and effective communication.
You’ll work with regional and global financial crime compliance partners and collaborate closely with country compliance and operational risk stakeholders. The team operates at the intersection of regulatory change, business growth, and control effectiveness—balancing customer experience with strong risk outcomes. Your work will include both strategic program shaping and hands-on execution to keep the AML/CFT framework effective and audit-ready.
