The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will partner closely with key operational managers, helping them understand their financial performance and make better-informed business decisions.

Working across a diverse portfolio of programs and cost centers, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing month-end reporting across multiple cost centers and programs
• Analysing financial results and providing clear commentary on budget variances
• Presenting financial results and insights to operational managers
• Supporting managers to better understand financial performance and make informed decisions
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and revenue accruals
• Providing ad hoc financial analysis to support operational decision-making
• Assisting with acquittals and responding to finance-related queries
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation

About You
You’ll be an experienced Management Accountant or Finance Business Partner who enjoys working closely with operational stakeholders and can confidently communicate financial information to non-finance managers.
You will ideally bring:

• Strong management accounting and month-end reporting experience
• Experience working across multiple cost centres, programs or business units
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Confidence partnering with and presenting financial information to operational stakeholders
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• TechnologyOne experience will be highly regarded
• Previous exposure to not-for-profit, aged care, government grants or acquittals will be advantageous but is not essential
