Back Alley Sally’s is looking for an experienced Chef to join our team for approximately 15–25 hours per week.

This is a great role for someone looking for flexibility and a genuine mix of shifts – not just late nights. Hours are available across our café breakfast service, lunch and dinner shifts, including some weekends.

You’ll work across our café and bar/restaurant kitchen, with duties including:

• Preparing and cooking quality meals across breakfast, lunch and dinner

• Maintaining consistency and presentation during service

• Food preparation and kitchen organisation

• Maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards

• Working independently as well as part of the wider kitchen team

• Assisting with the smooth running of service

• Previous experience as a Chef in a café, restaurant, pub or similar venue

• Confident across breakfast, lunch and dinner service

• Reliable and well organised

• Able to work efficiently during busy periods

• Good communication and teamwork

• Pride in food quality and presentation

• Availability across a range of shifts, including some weekends

• 15–25 hours per week

• A good mix of breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts

• Flexibility with rostering

• Award rates plus applicable penalties
