About The Role
In this role you will provide high-quality administrative and customer support to the Planning & Statutory Services team, helping deliver efficient and compliant planning, building, environmental health and local laws services. Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, ensuring timely advice, effective triage and professional service. Maintain accurate records, prepare statutory documentation and support planning processes in line with legislative and Council requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support across Planning, Building, Environmental Health, Local Laws and Heritage services. Manage customer enquiries, applications, permits and statutory records with accuracy and professionalism. Prepare public notices, correspondence and planning documentation to support legislative compliance. Maintain information, records and spatial systems to ensure data integrity, transparency and efficient service delivery.
About You
We're looking for someone who gets genuine satisfaction from keeping things organised, loves helping people and can juggle a variety of tasks without missing the details. You'll be a proactive team player with excellent customer service skills, a knack for solving problems and the confidence to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. 📋 Loves organisation, keeps accurate records and takes pride in getting the details right.🤝 Enjoys helping people, communicates clearly and builds positive relationships with customers and colleagues.⚖️ Can prioritise competing tasks, exercise sound judgement and work confidently within policies, legislation and timeframes.💻 Brings strong administration experience, is comfortable using a range of business systems and ideally has experience in local government, planning, building, environmental health or a similar compliance-focused environment.
