EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST – MARITIME PLATFORM SYSTEMS ENGINEERS

Rubicon Associates is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Maritime Platform Systems Engineers to support current and upcoming Defence acquisition, sustainment and capability development programs across Australia.

As a proudly Australian-owned consultancy, Rubicon delivers integrated maritime engineering, systems engineering, design, project management and logistics support services across Defence and commercial maritime sectors.

Our team brings decades of experience across Royal Australian Navy and commercial vessel programs, delivering innovative, practical and supportable engineering solutions.

We’d like to hear from experienced engineers across the following disciplines:

• Marine Engineering

• Mechanical Engineering

• Electrical Engineering

• Combat Systems Engineering

Depending on your discipline and experience, you may have expertise across one or more of the following areas:

• Requirements analysis and requirements development

• Systems engineering and system definition

• Design development and design integration

• System commissioning activities

• Verification and Validation (V&V) planning and execution

• Test and evaluation activities

• Defence Seaworthiness Management System (DSwMS)

• Maritime platform acquisition and sustainment programs

You may also have experience developing technical deliverables such as:

• Requirements specifications

• Design documentation

• Specialist engineering reports

• Test plans, procedures and reports

• Hazard analyses and safety documentation

We’re looking for people who:

• Have relevant engineering experience within maritime, Defence or a related complex engineering environment

• Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with Defence stakeholders, industry partners and multidisciplinary engineering teams

• Bring a practical, solutions-focused approach to complex engineering challenges

• Are Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance (AGSVA)
