The successful applicant will provide engaging, practical learning experiences while maintaining a safe and well-managed workshop environment. The role includes planning and delivering curriculum-aligned lessons, assessing student learning, and appropriately managing workshop tools, equipment and materials.

Application Requirements

The successful applicant will:

• hold a relevant teaching qualification at degree level;
• be eligible for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers;
• have the knowledge and practical skills required to teach secondary Manual Arts and Design Technologies;
• demonstrate a strong commitment to workshop safety and effective classroom management; and
• be supportive of the ethos and values of Seventh-day Adventist education.
