Receptionist / Executive Assistance

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Receptionist to join our dynamic team at Cannon Accounting & Taxation in Tamworth, NSW. As our Receptionist, you will be the face of our firm, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting the smooth running of our office.

Key responsibilities

• Greeting and welcoming clients and visitors in a friendly and courteous manner

• Handling incoming phone calls and directing them to the appropriate person

• Maintaining and organising the reception area to ensure it is presentable at all times

• Providing administrative support, such as scheduling appointments, payment processing, managing emails, and handling correspondence

• Assisting with various office tasks as required, including filing, photocopying, and data entry

• Assisting with client onboarding and document management

• Supporting accountants and management with necessary administrative tasks

• Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

About you

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in an accounting or professional services environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner

• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

• Proficiency in using standard office equipment and software, such as Microsoft Office suite

• A positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
