We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Manager to help lead our dynamic team and drive the continued success of Etsu Izakaya. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Oversee daily venue operations, ensuring smooth service and high standards

• Lead, train, and inspire front-of-house and management teams

• Assist in driving financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control

• Maintain exceptional customer service standards and resolve guest concerns professionally

• Manage staff, rosters, and recruitment

• Work collaboratively with the Executive Chef, Venue Manager and directors to enhance the venue offering

• Minimum 3+ years experience

• Strong leadership and team development skills

• Proven ability to manage high-volume service

• Current RSA (QLD)

• Passion for hospitality and Japanese cuisine culture

• Energetic, organised, and solutions-focused
