About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at our Myaree WA location. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to develop your management skills within a dynamic, fast-paced hospitality environment. As Assistant Store Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, maintain service excellence, and foster a positive team culture. This role is instrumental in supporting the overall success of the restaurant and directly contributes to delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations and ensuring adherence to company standards and procedures.

• Supervise and support front-of-house and back-of-house team members, including scheduling, training, and performance management.

• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service across all service periods.

• Monitor inventory levels, stock rotation, and food safety compliance

• Address customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction

• Contribute to achieving sales targets and implementing promotional activities

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations

• Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of team members

• Assist in maintaining the restaurant's cleanliness, presentation, and overall ambience

• Report to the Store Manager on operational matters and assist with problem-solving

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a management or supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Knowledge of food safety, health, and hygiene standards

• Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills

• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required in the hospitality sector

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• Customer service excellence and problem-solving abilities

• Experience with inventory management and cost control

• A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences
