Stock Controller

About the role

Chemist King Welland is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our team. This is a diverse and hands-on role that’s perfect for someone with strong retail and inventory management experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

As a Stock Controller, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate flow of stock throughout the store. You will:

• Perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.

• Receive and check incoming goods, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and invoices from multiple suppliers and warehouses.

• Maintain precise inventory records within our management system.

• Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and sales teams to forecast demand and maintain optimal stock levels.

• Assist with merchandising, catalogue promotions, and occasional shop floor duties as required.

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• Proven experience in stock control or inventory management.

• Retail experience – essential.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.

• Excellent communication skills.
