Management Accountant

WorkTrybe is partnering with one of our valued clients to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to join a collaborative and purpose driven finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to step into a broad, commercially focused role where you'll work closely with senior leadership, contribute to business improvement initiatives, and gain ongoing mentorship from an experienced CEO and CFO.

Offering a salary of $110,000 + Super, this position is ideal for someone who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, improving financial processes, and making a meaningful impact within a supportive organisation.

About the Role As the Management Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting the finance function across management reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, reconciliations and business partnering. Working alongside an experienced finance team, you'll help drive process improvements while providing valuable financial insights to support operational decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare monthly management reports, reconciliations, cost analysis and financial reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, pricing and margin analysis across the business.
• Analyse the cost of service delivery, including cost allocation, funding utilisation and operational performance.
• Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insights, improve resource utilisation and support strategic decision-making.
• Assist with month-end activities including accruals, journals, reconciliations and cost-centre reporting.
• Maintain the integrity of financial and costing data across reporting systems.
• Support procurement, financial controls, accounts and broader finance operations.
• Assist the CFO and Finance team with reporting, analysis, audit preparation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, systems and reporting.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

• CPA qualification (essential).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• Approximately 3-5 years' experience in management accounting, financial accounting or business services.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide commercial insights.
• Experience with month-end reporting, reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong working relationships across the business.
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills with a passion for improving processes.
• The ability to work onsite as part of a collaborative finance team.
• Experience within aged care, healthcare or the not-for-profit sector will be highly regarded but is not essential.
• Experience supporting audits or preparing audit workpapers will be highly regarded.
• Ability to obtain a National Police Check.
