Production Operator

YHN Construction PTY LTD is a growing industry provider delivering premium structural fabrication and manufacturing solutions for the commercial and residential building sectors. Operating out of our specialized construction manufacturing facility in Adelaide, SA, we are seeking a dedicated, safety-focused Production Operator to join our expanding warehouse and production team.

Role Description:

The successful candidate will operate specialized machinery and equipment to assist with the precise assembling, manufacturing, processing, packaging, and quality assurance of items along an active production line, including utilizing a forklift to assist with moving products across the facility.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

* Competently operate complex production machinery, including calibrating equipment, monitoring system gauges, and executing real-time operational adjustments as required.

* Set up and execute rigorous cleaning and preventative maintenance schedules to optimize machine efficiency and systematically prevent operational downtime.

* Systematically inspect finished products, extract production samples, and undertake rigorous product quality control protocols against company standards.

* Coordinate, pack, and prepare finished products efficiently for secure dispatch, including safely utilizing forklifts to transport materials across the warehouse floor.

* Maintain a pristine, hazard-free production workspace while strictly adhering to all corporate Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

* A minimum of 1 to 2 years of direct operational experience within a factory, warehouse, or industrial assembly line environment.

* Physically fit and capable of safely lifting, handling, and moving heavy materials and manufactured Trusses, frames up to standard workplace limits.

* Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with a proven ability to learn, monitor, and troubleshoot automated machinery systems.

* Ability to interpret and follow basic manufacturing specifications, production layouts, or structural component diagrams.

* Proficient in, or capable of being trained in, the safe operation of pneumatic tools, tensioning gear, and material handling forklifts.

*Forklift experience or a valid license is highly regarded, but not mandatory.

* Sound English communication skills to ensure absolute safety compliance and accurate quality reporting.

* Proven capability to work flexible schedules, including rotating day, afternoon, and night shift patterns.

Salary & Package:

* Base Salary Range: $79,500 - $85,000 per annum (excluding Superannuation).

* Industry-standard shift allowances, overtime rates, and superannuation are paid in addition to the base salary in accordance with the National Employment Standards (NES).
