ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYCouncil’s Building and Depot unit sits within the City Services Directorate and focuses on compliance, operational maintenance, and safety of the fleet and building assets. Cumberland City Council manages over two hundred fleet assets across the LGA which provide a wide variety of services to our community.
In contributing to the overarching vision, the Fleet and Workshop Officer ensures efficient, cost effective, sustainable, and customer focused fleet procurement, management, maintenance and reporting to an industry best practice standard, as per Council’s policies and procedures and all regulatory fleet requirements. Fleet in this position description refers to all Council vehicles and plant, both owned and leased.

Salary information: The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award.
What you'll need to have for this role:
Council adheres to the principles of a child safe organisation and is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people, and fully supports the aims and objectives of NSW Child Protection Legislation, and associated provisions.
