About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, commercially minded Regional Manager to lead the next phase of growth for our Fire & Security business in Cairns.

This is a pivotal leadership position with genuine influence over the future direction of the region. You will take ownership of the regional operation, shape its growth strategy and strengthen our presence across Far North Queensland - an evolving market offering significant opportunity to expand customer partnerships, service capability and market reach.

You will lead, coach and empower a multidisciplinary team across service, projects and sales, creating an environment in which people feel supported, accountable and motivated to perform at their best. Through clear direction and strong leadership, you will build capability, develop future leaders and foster a high-performing, safety-focused culture.

Balancing strategic, operational and commercial priorities, you will ensure customers receive reliable, compliant and high-quality fire protection and security solutions. You will also identify new opportunities, deepen key client relationships and position the regional business for sustainable, long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary Fire & Security team to achieve operational and commercial objectives.
• Drive regional growth across service, maintenance, projects and customer solutions.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and key industry stakeholders.
• Oversee financial performance, including revenue, profitability, forecasting and cost control.
• Ensure the delivery of safe, compliant and high-quality fire protection and security services.
• Champion a customer-first culture, responding proactively to client needs and market opportunities.
• Support workforce planning, capability development and succession within the region.
• Partner with broader business leaders to deliver strategic initiatives and continuous improvement.

You will ideally bring:

• Proven leadership experience in Fire & Security, facilities services, technical services, construction, building services or a related industry.
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets, P&L performance and growth targets.
• A track record of leading engaged, accountable and high-performing teams.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
• A commitment to safety, quality, compliance and continuous improvement.
• The adaptability and drive to lead successfully in a dynamic regional market.
