Head Chef

We are seeking a talented Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at an amazing rural venue.  Are you a hands on Head Chef looking for a new opportunity south of Ipswich?

What we are looking for: 

• Natural Leader and Trade qualified chef ready to lead from the front. 

• Experience with commercial responsibilities including rosters, cost control and performance. 

• Strong understanding of compliance, WHS and food safety 

• Strong menu planning, costing and stock control skills with a clear focus on food costs and gross profit. 

• An ability to compile kitchen rosters to manage workflow and labor with trading demand and budget. 

• Train, supervise and mentor all kitchen team members providing a positive team culture. 

• Great liaison with the front of house to ensure smooth service and resolve any feedback.
