Internal expression of interest up to June 2027
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Project Officer to lead the development and delivery of an EV charging program that support the transition to a cleaner, more sustainable transport future in New South Wales.
Working within a dynamic government environment, you will lead DCCEEW’s EV Kerbside Charging Grants Program, overseeing a team responsible for the rollout of out Australia’s largest kerbside EV charging infrastructure deployment.
The role combines grants administration, program management, and stakeholder engagement as it delivers existing and new grant funding rounds. You will play a key role in shaping transport electrification outcomes while working collaboratively across government, industry and community stakeholders.
About You
You are an experienced project and program professional with a strong track record of leading complex initiatives and achieving successful outcomes within government, infrastructure, sustainability, transport, energy or related sectors.
You bring demonstrated experience managing and mentoring teams, planning and delivering time sensitive outcomes, and fostering collaborative relationships with diverse internal and external partners.
With strong analytical, program and communication skills, you can confidently navigate complex issues, prepare high-quality reports and briefings, and lead teams to meet their delivery objectives.
You are highly organised, capable of managing people, competing priorities, and are skilled at influencing stakeholders with differing perspectives. A sound understanding of government processes, program or grant administration, combined with a passion for driving transport electrification and sustainability outcomes, will ensure your success in this role.
