Aged Care Trainee - Part time - Moruya

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring person, who has a genuine interest in a career in aged care, for a part-time traineeship opportunity with IRT.

This position is available at our Residential Care Home at:

IRT Moruya

This exciting program is for a minimum of 24 months, and includes undertaking a Certificate III Individual Support, delivered by ITeC Academy, whilst gaining on-the-job experience and secure employment in a rapidly growing industry.

Traineeships will commence employment in September/October with IRT, study to commence with ITeC in November.

• A commitment to undertaking the Certificate III in Individual support qualification
• Able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week (combination of work and study), availability Thursday as this is an allocated study day

• Flexibility and availability to work shifts that include weekends, late afternoons and evenings

To be eligible for an IRT traineeship candidates must:

• Be living or working in NSW
• Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident (we are not able to offer to temporary residents).
• Not be currently studying or already have a Certificate III in Individual Support
