Community Registered Nurse

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Community Registered Nurse to join our health and safety team in Hervey Bay, Queensland. This temporary, casual role is essential for providing high-quality nursing care to the community, ensuring the health and wellbeing of our clients. The successful candidate will play a vital role in promoting health education and supporting individuals in managing their health conditions effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to clients in the community setting.
• Conduct health assessments and develop individual care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate clients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Participate in community health initiatives and outreach programs.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse qualification with current AHPRA registration.
• Experience in a community health setting or relevant internship.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient care and safety.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
