About the roleWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manufacturing Planner to join our team in Derrimut. In this role, you will develop and manage production schedules to ensure customer orders are delivered on time while supporting efficient manufacturing operations. Working closely with Production, Customer Service, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams, you will coordinate production demand, inventory, and material availability in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities & dutiesPrepare, maintain, and manage manufacturing schedules and production forecasts.
Create and maintain work orders to ensure customer delivery requirements are met.
Coordinate stock transfers between manufacturing sites to support production demand.
Monitor production stock shortages and work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve supply issues.
Liaise with Customer Service regarding customer due dates and customer-supplied material availability.
Communicate production schedule changes and delays to relevant stakeholders.
Review purchase order requirements and expedite raw materials and packaging components.
Support new product introductions, including ERP data setup and maintenance.
Identify process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain production planning data and business rules within the ERP system.
Process and close batch sheets while maintaining accurate production records.
Prepare Production Advice and Certificates of Analysis (COAs) to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Previous experience in manufacturing planning, production scheduling, or supply chain planning.
Experience with raw material planning, inventory management, and purchasing processes.
Strong understanding of production planning and procurement systems.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret data.
Experience using ERP systems within a manufacturing environment.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
High attention to detail and a strong customer-focused approach.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset.
The ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team.
