This environment offers senior legal professionals the opportunity to work closely with clients and have a direct impact on their commercial success.Role Description The Senior Solicitor will manage a diverse portfolio of commercial and private client matters, providing strategic legal advice and hands-on support across transactions, disputes, and advisory work. Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing contracts and agreements, leading negotiations, managing files from initial instruction through to resolution, and supervising junior team members where required. The role involves close collaboration with clients, including SMEs, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals, to understand their commercial objectives and deliver tailored solutions. The Senior Solicitor will also contribute to business development initiatives, build referral relationships, and help refine internal processes to enhance client service. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Perth, WA.Qualifications Strong foundation in general Law, with experience providing commercial and advisory services across multiple practice areas.Demonstrated expertise in Conveyancing and Commercial Real Estate, including property transactions, leasing, and related documentation.Experience in Labor and Employment Law, advising on employment contracts, workplace policies, disputes, and compliance.Competence in Family Law matters, including relationship property, financial arrangements, and dispute resolution where relevant.Admission as a Solicitor in Western Australia, with a current practicing certificate and several years of post-qualification experience in commercial practice.Proven ability to manage complex files independently, exercise sound professional judgment, and provide clear, pragmatic advice.Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills, with a commitment to accessible and straightforward service.Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers and contribution to team collaboration and knowledge sharing.Business development mindset, with the ability to build networks and contribute to the growth of a boutique practice.
