Task & responsibilities Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue, improveprofitability and achieve sales targets through effective merchandising and   promotional activities. Recruit, train, roster, mentor and evaluate employees to ensure effective staffing and strong workplace performance.

Oversee stock ordering, receiving, storage, rotation and inventory control to maintain appropriate stock levels and minimise shortages, overstocking and wastage. Plan, organise, direct and coordinate overall store operations to ensure efficient daily business performance. Maintain visual merchandising and product presentation standards in accordance with company requirements and promotional campaigns.

Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries, complaints and feedback to enhance customer satisfaction and maintain positive relationships. Supervise and manage retail staff to maintain high standards of customer service, productivity and operational efficiency. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency, maintain quality standards and support continuous business   improvement.

Oversee financial and administrative functions, including cash handling, banking, budgeting, sales reporting and monitoring operating expenses in line with   company procedures. Liaise with suppliers, senior management and other stakeholders regarding purchasing, stock availability, pricing, promotional activities and general business operations to ensure effective store management.
