Join Noosa Council as an Environmental Health Officer and help protect the health, safety and wellbeing of our community. In this varied role, you'll deliver environmental health and regulatory services across areas including food safety, compliance, licensing and public health. Working closely with residents, businesses and stakeholders, you'll provide expert advice and practical solutions to achieve positive community outcomes. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact while supporting Noosa's unique lifestyle and environment.
You are an Environmental Health professional with experience applying public and environmental health legislation in a regulatory environment. You have strong investigative, analytical and communication skills, with the ability to conduct inspections, audits and compliance activities while providing practical advice to a range of stakeholders. Organised and adaptable, you can manage competing priorities and make sound, risk-based decisions. You are committed to delivering high-quality, customer-focused services that protect public health and support community wellbeing.
