Hydraulic Engineer

Accurate Plumbing Group is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Services Consultant to join our growing team and help establish our in-house hydraulic design and consultancy capability.

This isn't a typical consulting role. You'll work directly alongside our Directors, Estimators, Project Managers, Site Supervisors and plumbers to develop hydraulic solutions that are practical, efficient, cost-effective and buildable.

You'll be responsible for hydraulic design and documentation across commercial, industrial and civil projects, including:

• Water supply and sanitary drainage

• Stormwater and trade waste systems

• Gas reticulation

• Rainwater harvesting

• Sewer pumping stations

• Civil water and sewer infrastructure

• Hydraulic calculations and authority approvals

• AutoCAD and Revit documentation

• Shop drawing reviews and As Constructed documentation

• RFIs, design changes and construction support

• Fire service coordination where applicable

You'll also play an important role in developing our design standards, specifications, libraries and templates while helping us integrate AI, automation, BIM and digital engineering into our workflows.

Essential:

• Engineering degree in Civil, Mechanical, Hydraulic or related discipline

• Commercial hydraulic services design experience

• Strong knowledge of the NCC and AS/NZS 3500

• AutoCAD experience

• Hydraulic calculation experience

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Practical and solutions-focused approach

Highly regarded experience:

Revit MEP, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, BIM coordination, MUSIC modelling, stormwater detention, civil water/sewer infrastructure, commercial kitchens, healthcare, education and industrial projects.
