About the role

Working across the business, you will play a vital role in shaping how we operate, grow, and innovate, bringing our strategy to life.As the Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of new store openings, refurbishments, relocations and capital works across our retail portfolio. Working closely with Real Estate, Store Planning, Design and key business stakeholders, you will manage projects from concept through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will play a critical role in creating exceptional retail environments while coordinating multiple stakeholders, contractors and suppliers to deliver seamless project outcomes.Please note this is a 12-month fixed term opportunity. How You Will ContributeLead end-to-end delivery of new store, refurbishment and capital projects across the retail networkOwn project budgets, delivery plans and financial reconciliation to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standardCoordinate architects, consultants, contractors, landlords and suppliers throughout the project lifecycleManage tender processes, evaluate submissions and negotiate project costsObtain required approvals, permits and landlord consents to enable project deliveryMonitor construction progress through regular site inspections, resolving issues and managing defects through to completionPartner with cross-functional teams to ensure stores are operationally ready for opening and refurbishment activitiesDrive clear communication across stakeholders while maintaining project documentation, budgets and reportingEnsure all projects comply with workplace health and safety, building and regulatory requirementsIdentify opportunities to improve project delivery processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Capabilities We ValueProven experience delivering retail fit-out, refurbishment or construction projects from planning through to completionExperience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environmentStrong knowledge of project management methodologies, budgeting, tendering and contractor managementExperience working with landlords, consultants, architects and external suppliersAbility to interpret architectural drawings and construction documentationExcellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skillsHighly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing prioritiesProactive, solutions-focused mindset with the confidence to make informed decisionsQualifications in Project Management, Construction, Design or a related discipline are highly regardedRetail project delivery experience will be highly regarded.
