Director - Health, Ageing and Disability

Your Role

Your Responsibility 

• Lead the strategic direction and performance of the Health, Ageing and Disability portfolio.
• Provide executive oversight of health, aged care and disability services across NSW.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of senior leaders.
• Ensure strong governance, clinical quality, safeguarding, risk and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee compliance with NDIS and aged care requirements, including quality and accreditation standards.
• Drive service planning, innovation, continuous improvement and evidence-based practice.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen, redesign and grow services in response to community need.
• Ensure strong financial performance and sustainable use of resources.
• Build effective relationships with government, regulators, health networks, community organisations and strategic partners.

About You 

• A relevant tertiary qualification in a recognised health profession eligible for AHPRA registration, or another appropriate clinical qualification.
• Significant experience in strategic service planning, portfolio development and service optimisation.
• Proven experience leading governance, quality, safety and risk across complex service environments.
• Executive-level operational leadership experience.
• Strong analytical, commercial and strategic decision-making capability.
• Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills.
• Experience working within regulatory and accreditation frameworks.
• Current NSW driver's licence and willingness to travel across NSW.
